Long Loved Wife
My long loved Wife my one and only love
The one that's been there for me from the start
Your beauty and your laughter always a delight
Your kind and gentle soul, no one can compare
Your patience and your understanding, never failing
Your love so strong and true, each day so clear
My long loved wife, no one can be more appealing
Your spirit is so strong a never ending flame
Your spirit enduring, it will never die
You are my joy,my light, my hope
My long loved wife, I'm thankful for you in my life

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:
The poem "Long Loved Wife" is a heartfelt tribute to a beloved partner. It utilizes a simple, straightforward language to express deep affection and admiration. However, there are a few areas where it could be improved.
1. Imagery: The poem could benefit from more vivid and unique imagery. While the sentiments expressed are sincere, they are quite general. For instance, instead of saying "Your beauty and your laughter always a delight," consider using more specific descriptions that capture the unique aspects of the wife's beauty or the sound of her laughter.
2. Metaphor: The poem could also be enhanced through the use of metaphor. This would allow the poet to express their feelings in a more nuanced and interesting way. For example, instead of saying "Your spirit is so strong a never ending flame," a metaphor could be used to compare the wife's spirit to something else that is strong and enduring.
3. Rhythm and Rhyme: The poem does not appear to follow a consistent rhythmic or rhyme scheme. While this is not necessarily a problem, it can make the poem feel a bit disjointed. If a consistent rhythm or rhyme scheme was used, it could help to create a more cohesive and pleasing sound when the poem is read aloud.
4. Show, Don't Tell: The poem often tells the reader how the poet feels about his wife, rather than showing it through specific examples or anecdotes. This can make the poem feel a bit abstract and less engaging. By showing specific moments or actions that demonstrate the wife's qualities, the poem could become more vivid and emotionally resonant.
In conclusion, while the poem's sincerity and affection are clear, it could be improved through the use of more specific imagery, metaphor, a consistent rhythm or rhyme scheme, and the principle of "show, don't tell."

Dear Clentin,
Your wife must be a peach of a woman for you to write such loving poetry about. She is very lucky to have you, also! Does she read your poetry? If not, she is missing out on a very important part of you. I hope she reads...

She reads my poems and we
She reads my poems and we often share poems about our children, grand children and great grandchildren, as well as church, state and life!
We discuss everything and always have- doesn't mean we always agree, ha ha
Thank you

Hey Clentin...
How very telling, that you say you do not always agree; yet your wife is your best friend!
How wonderful life would be, if we all treated our wives and friends as such.
We don't always have to agree about everything, and we can still be friends.
Life would be so very boring and stifling if we always agreed. I really enjoyed the way you lavished praise on her,
and told how she has affected your life. She is very lucky to have such as you.
I agree that you could have been a little more flowery and used some metaphor, but that is just flash, this piece rings true.
Nice job, ~ Geez.

I said to myself...
I'll bet it's her birthday! Or anniversary! Yeah, they do tend to do that; but that's what we need. LoL
