For Esker
We spoke in verse
A language unique to us
Dancing through the darkness
Dust to dust
Through lyric and rhyme;
Once upon a time, we were close
Your wisdom and experience
I will always treasure
Journey on, dear Mr. Wolf
May your passage be well
Fly high with flowing ink
In the sky, write on, fly high
Until we meet again….

Just one little niggle...
Countless ink implies singulars that can be counted. Maybe use flowing ink?
Otherwise, another fine tribute to someone who is sorely missed.

I like the use of flowing much better. Now he can write endlessly...will definitely miss him

Lovely tribute to Steven
So many tribute poems he would've loved reading them and leaving his poem comments. He will be so very missed.
Biggest hugs we all have our memories of him and he's left us the gift of his words.
All the tributes are a reflection of the wonderful person he was and the incredible talent he had.
