S P A D e S I E
drape a moment
cross this idling chest
I feel your tingle
you lick the tinge from
a curled lip
hiss
"Kiss my bullets baby"
I'll be your pocket of sorrow
if you'd hang your heart
from this worn sleeve
but you're a fortress
full of ghosts that greive

My poor diseased mind, when thinking of Burroughs
always thinks first of carbolic soap.
cheers,
Jess

Thats funny Elf
this soap is the only thing I wash with
orange
smells horrid and weird
like the psych hospitals
or garages
where mechanics work
Wealthy son
this poet
I remember long ago watching a movie
clip of the woman with the glass on her
head and then reading clips from
"And the Hippos were Boiled alive in their tanks"
watching him on "Drugstrore Cowboy"
He was great wasn't he
Thanks Elf
I will go later today after work and look up
the refrence
Im also looking up stuff on Sydney Austraillia
Was looking at Cold Chisel and the band
and they were giving refrences to the places
of rock from the eighties in Sydney
a very interesting place this Australlia
Thank TYou

You know Midnight Oil?
My clip of 'Back on the Borderline'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7bmC4Gfo0A
Sydney had 24/7 live music in the '70s, but no longer, sadly.
cheers,
Jess

Midnight Oil
grew up comfortable and freinds had the old televisions
with ariels picked up a hazy static distant stations Friday
night with that new thing called "Rock Videos" back in
the eighties 1985 Shocking things then!! Thank god
for creativity I remember Midnight Oil well I liked that
the band vocalist was an active member of things rather
then just having an opinion he got involved
and he was striking looking
I was looking at Google earth images of terrain
and street views and was very impressed with how much
of this city is bays and inlets from the ocean
completely different then a lot of the coast line on
North America
I looked up Burroughs too and agree
the soap is memory making and strong
we have it here in our mall at a place called
the BULK BARN for under five dollars
commercialism has replaced the fun from
so much everyone wants the cash up front
for tickets now and merchandise and the
small venues have been replaced with
big volume holdings
