ovaluations
tepid beneath the mingle stars
the dragons breath turns wild
the ovid eye winds across
the dare
the open glitter fair
and you slit letter sealed
lay broken
tongue moist silence
colder then the cup
these ice days
rising like the harsh
haze
scales on the souls
of the dead
beneath the furnace
block steameries
furnace fires smiling
behind ovens gates
all our scenery
smoldering like a fault
lead
the instruments flicker
behind the dazzleship eyes
but we keep on pushing
leaning into the screen
for the weather to clear
and the dragon keeps breathing
life to the lifeless dream
we have screamed awake
in the death of darkness
laid upon its shield
the cape of sadness
ornamental pride scrawled
in perfect script
how you ousted the beast
and took your place
kneeling at my side...

Hello Steven
Another great excursion in other-worldly metaphor by a man with more talent in his little finger than most have in their whole, ugly bodies! It is always a joy to read your work and savor the language! Keep writing, my friend!

Got to be one of the best sonic landscapes I have ever read
There is just something beautiful about the way you marry words across continents of meaning, create secret castes of eloping runaways, collide elements to create worlds of intrigue and question. Your worlds are more like the cut and paste streams of consciousness that the Beat writers invented but better because they allow our skimming imagination to glide over their glittering surface and leave in wonderment and not a little awe. There are images, new words, biological bastardisations, psychological wondermares , originality by the moonload tearing at our senses and critical faculties sending us in to dreamworlds, down corridors of our own making , releasing us to dream and create with you. If anything your writing stimulates our creativity making them interactive like no other work I have come across. You are peerless on this site.

I concur
He makes me want to write freeform word power and play with the image-sounds that contextualise my themes.

He's extraordinary..
Absolutely!! Eskers genetically modified language is suitable both for space, the depths of the deepest ocean, the furnaces of thought and the heavenly road trip combined into one soulscape. And of course he's hugely ignored unless of course people are being inspired somewhere else.

Reading,
Reading your poem took me racing back to my childhood, Saturday morning movies charging through an adventure with the hero, hearing every ooh aah and shriek in that vast emporium. And for that i say Bravo Steven. Regards Roscoe..
Roscoe Llane,
Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.

our mythologies of action
change is tantamount
our planet is such
our teachings
the instructions
are not dross manuals
meant for technical absorptions
the "Flickers" are now epic
tales like the opera of its time
like shakespeare after the
knights adventures to the east
life is a calm movement at times
and a storm alive with
all its risks and detriments
distractions
and mind numbing excursions
of patience
sometimes it is well to write
with a verve compelling
thank you for the appreciation
on this poem

Sigh...
Once again...I dip into your images and they floor me ..."dazzleship eyes"..."slit letter sealed"...the sounds of your words are a masterclass in creativity with language.
I consider you to be the most inspiring poet on this site.
