Angst Of A Poet!

Pangs of Wilderness!

I stray into the midst of a misty night,
Awaiting the storm of life
That ends like a tsunami,
Into the pangs of the wilderness

My fellow beings,
Alight from the dreamy day journey
Say fare the well to me,
As I take off
To the end of eternity

The wilderness now beckons’ me,
Come where the need is,
To stay now down there
As you fail thy self

The systematic failure,
Delayed since long,
Now to nature does belong
Say good bye to those
Whom you love?
And those who may say
Twas a nice one
As they still may so alight,
From the wings of time
As the midnight bells
Finally chime,

Pass by the ordained way,
With heart and soul
Look not back
As there remains none as whole
The heart lightens
The heat cools
None can the end befool
So take leave ere its time
See now the midnight bells
Once again do chime
As you depart,
Your poetry
Finally does rhyme
Twas high time!

this poem was written
as if the poet was taking
his last flight ever .

At times pains hidden
in the lower strata of a human being
remain anchored within
and its rare to confide
even with ones kith and kin ..

some day we all have to part and go
our own way
but some how we all want to delay
that's what is all about
this mortal life's unique way.

i lament not for the poet in me,
but hopefully you all shall continue
to read me.

At times in grief too
we smile
and as Seren says
here i reply

Siren’s Open Invitation
Shall walk the mile
But stay for a while,
As I still smile
Ere I walk
The last mile!
Thanks Seren

Hidden in the far folds
of the pages of Neopoets library ,

un-read ....un-smacked.. un -used ...un- remembered ..UN-SMASHED

by anyone else
but Shirley
Hope now twill reach thee

ERE IT DOES

OF A FINAL ETERNITY
