Could have, would have, should have
Any journey could have been happier,
It would have and should have been happier
If only we had had a better understanding
of each other.

Neopoet AI
The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:
The poem "Could have, would have, should have" is a short and simple piece that captures the lament of missed opportunities and the regret that comes with them. The author expresses a desire for a happier journey, one that could have been achieved if only there had been a better understanding between the two parties.
The poem is effective in conveying a sense of wistfulness and longing, and the repetition of the three phrases - "could have," "would have," and "should have" - enhances the feeling of missed chances. However, the piece lacks depth and complexity, and the language is somewhat plain and unremarkable. The poem would benefit from more vivid imagery or metaphors to engage the reader's imagination.
One suggested line edit could be to replace the phrase "a better understanding" with a more specific description of what was lacking in the relationship. This would add more specificity and detail to the poem, and help to flesh out the emotions and experiences being described. For example, the line could be revised to read "If only we had taken the time to listen to each other's hopes and fears." This would give the reader a clearer picture of the source of the misunderstanding and the missed opportunities for connection.
Overall, "Could have, would have, should have" is a poignant reflection on missed chances and the human tendency to look back with regret. With some additional imagery and detail, the poem could be even more impactful and resonant.

It’s been 20 years
I met my wife 20 years ago. We continue to change and grow together and in many ways we’ve been loving and supportive. I feel like because things with us have always been generally good as far as our relationship we kinda settled in to a routine. We got to a point where the routine was stale and no longer moving us in a direction either wanted to go. That’s when we really looked inward and decided we both needed to heal some things and open up about our feelings and desires and goals. Now I feel like reborn into something new. A new manor of examining myself and my behaviors and pulling them in line with these augmented goals. This has made me desire much deeper connection from non romantic relationships too.
We can talk about the weather if you like
But I’m talking about the storms and sunshine inside,

You never disappoint with your comments.
I should say this is non autobiographic piece.
We've been married for over than 27years. There are always ups and downs, but fortunately the ups are more and we "both work together" always do our best to overcome any misunderstandings.
I can't thank you enough for your time.
Always appreciate it.

dear Rula,
there is a lot implied here. I do not believe that AI understands that sometimes less is more! one has to read between the lines to understand the subtleties. in my humble opinion, it is a nice little poem that says a lot, with fewer words! nice work.

Could Have, Would Have, Should Have
Hello, Rula,
You've said so much here. This reminds me of the saying, "Do not listen with the intent to reply, but with the intent to understand." Sometimes it takes a lot of patience and work! I really like this, Rula.
