Plastic soul

Ever since I met you
I haven’t been okay
You dragged me back down
And now here I lay

Didn’t even stab me
But I’m left to bleed
You came back again
Only to love and leave

I tried to water you again
Let you breathe up the lush
So you could feel whole
But water doesn’t work on fake flowers
Who have a plastic soul

I fucking hate you
But not really at all

wonderfully written poem I can feel how much they must've betrayed you (fuck them tbh). the line "didn't even stab me but im left here to bleed" is so raw and im in awe of how well you convey strong emotion. whoever this is about obviously does NOT deserve your time!! Thanks for sharing :)

AHHHHH HIIIIIIIIIII thank you soooo muchhhhhh!! My poems as of recent have been very rash and harsh and not very thought out, but I just needed to get the emotion off my chest, so thank you for commenting and sharing your opinion on it. AHHH WHATS UR FAV HOZIER SONG!! I CANT BELIVE YOU RECOGNISED THE ALBUM AHAAHH.

my favorite song is probably wasteland baby but its so hard to choose he has so many good ones!!!!
And I totally get you ive been there before its so helpful to get emotions out and you've been gifted in that you can do so in a poetic and lovely way :)

STOPPP YOURE SO NICE! thank you so much, ive always loved just spouting emotion, whether i can help it or not. Wasteland baby is really nice, i like that one, my fav is probably someone new, which is rather basic, but i still really like it.
