A wolf is
always dreaming of the sun,
a better place
somewhere to run
a wolf, sits subserviant
and with no face
as the walls of it's cage
close in
crushing, claustrophobic
waiting for something else, anything else, to happen
walking down narrow halls
every day, and every night
the same, only the same
the wolf without a name, filled with sadness and rage
enclosing upon itself

It’s difficult when you feel stagnant and I’ve had some months where getting out of bed and just existing were both excruciating. I started to write my story, literally. This autobiographical, sci-fi, romance novella. I learned a lot about myself, and I finally found a therapist I don’t despise. I think your writing is spectacular. I urge you to continue to come hang out with us here and continue to post your work. You’ll find support and validation as well as constructive criticism to help make you a more proficient writer. Maybe we can both write our way out these respective funks.

I understood that this is kind of autobiographical, so I think I'll just enjoy reading though I find some difficulty as the title isn't helping much, but this is your poem and your choice.
Shall go back to the first other parts to find out more about the wolf.
We're all here good listeners, so never hesitate to share.
